Heritage i have those poppies in my gadren too, mine are more of a lilac colour, but i adore them. ???
The flower is so preety against the silvery leaf
Why do you dislike them so much, is it because of how they spread?

I don't really dislike them, but I pay out over $25 for rare and beautiful irises from America and the poppies come up for free and spoil the arrangement.
'She who must be obeyed' caught me pulling them up once. No tea for a week.

Lol, at your wife ;)
I just have them in one area of the garden
and they did just 'appear'
But last year i tried to spread the seed in another area
so we shall just have to wait and see what happens, and
whether it worked or not.
