These Babies came from our loft

here feeding on Bombay potatoes.

I love baby starlings; they are so endearing.  I expect I will see some at my feeding station soon as they are nesting in our eaves.

Thanks for sharing Ben Acre.  I hope your starling don't get a tummy ache with all that curry sauce on the potatoes!

There aren't as many starlings around as there used to be - I've a suspicion that may be partly because they've been trying to stop them roosting in city centres, so they're missing the extra warmth - but you seem to have a healthy family there!

we love them but also cringe at the racket they make, hope my neighbours are all bird lovers.  lots of people don't take much notice of starling but we find them so endearing, cheeky and very clever.  great pictures of the babies
