I've been a bit restrained (for me) this year, I'm sticking to my tried and tested favourites, Cayenne Red, Ring of Fire and Demon Red. Unless I see something I fancy at the plant sale that is...... ::) ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Ohhhh...lovely... ;D Have you grown those Tepin chillies? ..or do you know any suppliers little closer to home..? I do like a bit of warmth with my food ;D

Gaz...you must like suprises...if you still have any of the seeds from same batch..have a little chew of the seed...if any heat..well..chillies ::)
But my bet is that they would have used pepper seeds.

I've got seedlings 30-45cm high growing and making up about 30 varieties that I'm taking through our winter in the hope of having mature plants in Spring. Just posted a photo of some Rocoto juane seedlings to my Gallery.

Ring of fire is our 'standard' chilli - decent kick, but not horrific, and good yield. We are also growing praire fire, cheyenne, hot pepper 'purple' , hot 'patio sizzle &''chenzo'.

We have really good down the varieties this year to try and keep the greenhouse under control, but I have still potted up about 30 odd plants (argh).

Juane means Orange, so it's an orange Rocoto.

Santa Fe
Early Jalapeno
Tobasco
Aji yello
Naga Morich
Hot Patio Sizzle
Peter Pepper
Ring of Fire
Purrira
Aji Rojo
Congo Trinidad
Fatalli
Peach Habanero
Purple Tiger
Mazzetti Patio

Scotch Bonnet saved from one bought in Asda.  None of the seeds I had already bought germinated so I sowed the whole lot from this one, and every single one came up  :o
I've potted on about 60 of them, good thing we have our Plant Sale coming up soon!

Various Bangladeshi ones grown from seeds and chillies they've given me.
