seedlings in garden
« on: March 26, 2010, 09:49:18 »
this morning checking progress in the garden and i'm always amazed by the no of seedlings sprouting up all over. red orache is sprouting up all over the place, lambs lettuce and sunflowers. the self sown sunflowers are always strong growers but the ones i've set myself are still under cover!
Best of all the skirret is showing life (unless it's a weed, with carrot like foliage)  i have been trying for a few years to grow skirret and not had any luck, so fingers crossed.

Its fun isn't it, I love looking to see what is about and gives a real lift to know spring is firmly on the way.

Always makes me smile and feel very humble to see how easy Mother nature makes it all look when I have to work darn hard at it!
