Pasta (home-made with eggs from my chickens). Sauce with chard, and fresh herbs from the garden - with bought tomato and garlic as I've finished mine.  Purple sprouting as a side veg.

Leek (from the plot) and potato soup last night plus some unidentified red looking spring onion type - I think it was very young french garlic that I'd left behind last summer. All whizzed up and tasted  :P

Spag Bol type sauce with garlic, spring onions, Babington Leek, purple sprouting broccoli, winter squash and (bought) swede and carrot.  Together with bonfire (hedge trimmings) baked bought potatoes.  Bottled pears with icecream for afters.

Last years stored potatoes baked in the oven, don't think that they will last much longer going a bit soft and sprouting. On the whole they have kept well this last 6 months. I picked my first four asparagus spears and had them with Gammon and mushrooms (bought).

Can't BELIEVE people are eating asparagus already. Lovely mixture of spring greens from blown sprouts, PSB, land cress, sorrel, with butter and squeeze of lemon. SO fresh and delicious. Am eyeing closely wild garlic and Jack by Hedge for use very soon.
