Transplanting daisies
« on: February 17, 2009, 09:06:48 »
A friend has some lovely large yellow daisies in their garden and has offered to give me some for the allotment.

No idea what the daisies are, other than they are about 4 foot tall and flower in the summer!

How do you go about transplanting them? Have heard that you are supposed to dig up some of the roots in spring, does anyone have any more details?

Dig up a clump, move to your hole, water and firm in well... see what happens!
