Picking up my more solid greenhouse this weekend, i was wondering if people had idea's what to base it on, atm i have a plastic job and that just sits in 1 foot of soil and bark chippings.

Mine is on breezeblocks dug in to the ground and has a wood batten between the breezeblocks and greenhouse (there must be a reason why but I don't know what it is!) you can see it a few subjects down on this board. There are bolts/screws (or something) through the base of the greenhouse down through the wood and in to the blocks
I am not technical (had you guessed?!! ; ;))
Good luck with your new greenhouse ;D
