hi to all i have a question do hens have the same coloured feathers as cockerel's??? I'm hoping that they do because molly my hen??? has the same coloured tail feathers as George the cockerel and Ive had to give one away and molly is one of my favs please help me oh i wish i knew what i was doing  ::) ::) :(

The way to tell hen from cockerel is by the spurs on the legs. In the full grown male, the spurs have a long sharp claw on them. In some breeds the differences betwixt the sexes are hard to discern.

molly gave me a clear indication as to what sex she is by crowing this afternoon it upset me but she was quiet proud of her self ops i keep calling her a her when clearly she isn't looks like molly will be called Morris from now on any one want a cockerel
