Glads FINALLY flowering

yay! this were the first thing i planted......that was at the end of may. and the're finally starting to flower. the first flower opened today so i took some pics.





first of many :D

well it's about bloody time they flowered. i was about to dig them up and throw them ut cos they've been at it for so long!

but yea they're so pretty. i can see them through my patio doors in the living room at the sun goes does and when everything starts to darken up...they start to give this glow and it's so pretty.

Lucky you.  Just as mine started to flower a couple of weeks ago, the rain and wind flattened them.  Just been out and cut the soggy broken stems dowm & consigned to the compst heap.

Ho Hum, next year eh.
is it in the sale?

bless ya. actually we had terrible winds aswell and i'm surprised mine didn't collapse like they did last time they winds hit. they seem really sturdy at their base...
