Camellia
« on: April 15, 2013, 19:53:49 »
My friend bought me a camellia plant from Marks & Spencer years ago and it has grown well, and my next door neighbour loves it.  As it is her birthday soon, thought I would buy her one, then thought all you clever people, especially ACE, would know if I could take cuttings (not so mean, that I wouldn't buy her another present).  Photo attached, it is a good plant.

As I  purchased a lorry load from a nursery that was closing down a few years ago I have never bothered, but I believe they are not the easiest plant to propogate.

Thanks for that ACE, so will buy her one for her birthday.  Thought I could just stick a cutting in and hope.
