Took our onions up at weekend, didnt want to leave them any longer in case we got a bout of wet weather. So have trayed them up (we dont have them, no where to hang them from, seems to work for us!)
Some of our girls wanted to get in on the photo call:)

They look great! I have probably that many, maybe more, in brown onions, echalotes and red onions. I actually find that the red onions also store very well. They are not just for summer :)
(hello chooks!)

Welcome to A4A longalot.
I get old tights from my daughter to put my onions in. Gave up wearing them myself llong ago.
Where do people store them, I can't abide the smell of them.
We have rain forecast on Friday do folks think it is a good idea to take in the onions before that arrives.
