Thanks for all the kind words, very nice and much appreciated.

Today much the same as yesterday, I'm just pootling around.

Had my first go with the syringes (I have to use two each time) and I thought I was doing great until I'd finished the first one and the safety cover wouldn't come down over the needle.  The instructions said as soon as it was emptied and withdrawn, the safety cover would automatically spring up.  Hmmm.  I held the syringe up, had an inspection, pressed the plunger just to double check and promptly squirted myself with what was left inside  :-[ ;D
Didn't make the same mistake with the second one ...  ;D

Had my scan last night (ooo, those CT machines are BIG!) and was given the all clear today so yay me!!

Make sure during all this that you are keeping really well hydrated. Drink at least two more pints of water than you would normally drink, please!

look at it like this, the injections are to stop cells clumping together and causing further problems, so they need a bit of a leg up.

But also have a look at whether you really drink enough fluids in the normal day to day. Clots of course can be from "stickey Blood" genetiic issues but can be made worse by a simple lack on proper hydration.

Everything in the body works better with proper (but not excessive) hydration.

When you see all those Beautiful people in NYC jogging with their ever-present  water bottles it's basically to stop clots!
