Overrun with peppers - can they go outside yet?
« on: March 09, 2007, 20:06:41 »
My peppers are now about 6" high, with lots of leaves, and looking strong and healthy. I repotted them for the second time last night from 3" to 6" pots. The problem is that, with the pots being so much bigger, they are now taking over the kitchen - it looks like a jungle! 65 plants have survived this far.

Will they be ok out in the coldframe, or is it too cold yet? I could take them out in the morning and bring them back in at night, to allow me some space back during the day?

I'm near Birmingham

Cambourne - but if they die, I'll only have 59  :'( :P

My husband suggested that I love them more than I love him last night, when he found me arranging them under the light and putting the heating on in the kitchen for them before bed  :D

I think all the TLC is why you have such healthy plants - I wouldn't be putting them out till the end of May but maybe they could spend sunny days in the cold frame, as Cambourne says I'd try a few.
