new greenhouse
« on: January 21, 2007, 14:42:32 »
Have cleared the space for my new greenhouse. It's just a case of waiting now. It's going outside the kitchen window so I will have plenty of time to keep my eye on things.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

He's gotta dig a tree out first cos it come right on the corner. It's a weeping birch and was getting rather out of hand anyway. I don't really like taking trees out but am going to plant a rowan in the front to make amends

Shirlton; I've erected scores of greenhouse and would be interested in a bit more detail. What material is it? What size is it? Are you glass/poly or plastic finish?

It's justa bog standard 8x6 aluminium frame. You can keep all yer fancy greenhouses from now on. I'm gonna be content to be ordinary. Better the devil ya know.

That's not a bad choice at all. Size is good and it ain't gonna rot. Take your time over the assembly and it'll last you yonks.
