Running late
« on: May 24, 2010, 19:53:10 »
I am fully three weeks behind due to the season/s which is making things a bit more labour intensive due to the extra watering I am having to do during this warm spell.

I guess it willbe at best the first week in June before I put any of my bedding plants in.

I'm tempted to put my sweetcorn & beans out but I think I will wait another week.

This is the plots today;

Looking down both plots;

Looking down plot 2

The fruit garden (including new Raspberry plants)

A few Spring flowers that should be over and done with so that I can get my bedding in;

Tulip;

Bluebells;

Wallflower;

Magnolia;

A few things more or less on time;

Allium;

Euphorbia;

Clematis montana;

Welsh Poppy

Beautiful! I don't really have speace forflowers, so I only have a couple of rose bushes, magnolias and tagetes, although I am trying zinneas this year also  :)
My neighbour has really gorgeous peonies and dahlias, but I would rather have raspberries hee hee
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
