storing potatoes/growing butternuts

Any advice on storing potatoes,have them in brown paper sacks in house but they are not to happy, also growing butternuts but all the ends are dying off on them,any one know why and what to do ?thanks ::)

Welcome to A4A Ali.
The potatoes should be oK in paper sacks... have you aired them for a couple of hours in the sun... it helps dry the skins which reduces rotting...
The butternut probaly aren't fertilised... try bonking a female ( with embryo fruit) by removing a male (on a stalk) and introducing them.... ;D
