these are pics of mine, at the moment..do I need to take cuttings from them now, some have died, some look a bit manky ;D

I would be inclined to just leave them alone. Keeping them alive is all that is required at this time of year.

it was all this talk about starting slips off ;D
they're in the spare bedroom, by the window, kept quite dry, we'll see what happens in the next couple of months
