well, under plastic

I'm aiming to keep the polytuynnel more productive this winter, it's the 3rd year we've had it so the soil should be right, after all the rotovation and treatment.
so, apart from the oriental greens, I'm sowing early nantes carrots with 2 types of mouli radish..I reckon it's like august in there so I'm pre-chitting some parsnips in jiffy's..if they'll grow through autumn, I may get some small ones.
also, valdor and winter density lettuce, chichory, cipella onions, along with the senshyu..parella red lettuce, too, when the pre-grown brassicas arrive, I'll stick a couple of cabbage and calabrese in there, also, spring onions..
can anyone think of anything else, I thought I'd try the parsnips rather than throw the seeds out :)

well, we don't have the sun but it was 65 degrees in there, I forgot I'm putting some spuds (self saved greeny ones ) this week, in leaf bags, we've had good results from them this year :)
amazin', if you can get in, amid the triffid like sweet potatoes ad the physallis that's taking over with the melons, you're welcome any time ;D

I'm wondering if a pea variety might be ok if that temp is maintained reasonably well + herbs, basil might even germinate :)

with little space left but a big yearning to experiment :) what about cracking open a few fruit seeds such as apricot, nectarine, peach, pomegranate, lychee, lemon, grapefruit etc

yes, I'm going to see if I can keep the lemon grass and ginger going this year, depends on how cold it gets in there, they died off last year..might try some fruit seed, just to see what happens..mind you, I've started to take herb and flower cuttings now, will have to get a table up in there, once I've some room , maybe when some tomatoes have finished ;D
