What vegetables do folks have in their unheated greenhouses at this time of the year?

Brassicas and sweet peas, myself. And a tub of spuds that haven't surfaced yet.

can leek seeds that were sown on sunday morning go in to an unheated greenhouse?? i planted mine on sunday and have kept them in the kitchen in propagator can i put them in my un heated greenhouse?

Leeks, Broad Beans, Cabbages as seedlings; plus Lettuce growing as (edible) plants. Still on target for a whole year of lettuce from the plot!

Having moved the non sprouting onion seeds into the house, there are only over wintering chillis at the moment and one rather sad rosemary seedling. Big push on sowing this w.e.

Haven't grown carrots, but I thought they were meant to be sown in situ. Can you start them off in (say) loo roll inners and then transplant?

No, they stay in the trough. Just move it outside when the weather warms up. You need something like Amsterdam Forcing.

I sowed a second batch last autumn. Nothing much seemed to happen, so I just left them outside the GH. A fortnight ago I was about to tip the whole lot out onto one of the beds when my wife pulled a carrot out, then another, then another! We've had half a dozen meals already and there's still plenty more left.

Leeks, Potatoes in those free black buckets, carrots also in black buckets, onion seedlins and leaf lettuce.

Probably sow some peas soon in the cold greenhouse.

I have sowed broad beans and leeks ten days ago-no show yetbut it has been FREEZING at night here. ;DAlso spinach-thought i would give them a go.Was that a good idea? Still have plenty of seeds left for later sowing outside.

Got leeks, radish, lettuce and cauli but last two nights have had to bubble-wrap as temp has been dropping to -5

Sowed my BB's outside in October and they took 7 weeks to show so you got plenty of time yet.
