Anyone ever tried these sites for tomatos?

http://www.seedfest.co.uk/
http://www.readytogrow.co.uk/seeds/c_tomatoes.htm

Any suggestions for the best place online?

I had no end of trouble with Seadfest last year but had no problems the year before.  Last year it ended up going to a paypal dispute to get my money back.  Sadly I was not alone in having trouble.

But the seeds I got the year before were excellent, not sure if they have got their act together again or not, if you decide to give them a try be carefull, pay with some guaranteed method.

I have not used the other company.

I find the best place online for seeds, especially if you are looking for just a few is the swop shop on this site, if you have anything left over in your tin you can swop them for all sorts of wonderful stuff!

Happy hunting

Have a look at Plants of Distinction  http://www.podseeds.co.uk/ for tomatoes, the service is pretty good too.

For a limited selection of tried and tested seed varieties at rock bottom prices, I would suggest www.alanromans.co.uk  He should shortly be stocking Sungold, my favourite tomato.

Yes, steer clear of seedfest! They took my money and never sent out seeds. I had to file an complaint on ebay to get the money back...
Try A4A Seed Swap! ;D I got so many lovely varieties from kind people here.
I must say I'm very much tempted by Plants of Distinction catalogue... :)

Seedfest got very bad reports last year. I also used Realseeds and Alan Romans without problem and also Simpson's Seeds http://www.simpsonsseeds.co.uk/weren't too bad for some of the horribly expensive F1's like Santa and Juliet.

For Italian Tomatoes try:

http://www.seedsofitaly.com/

The other one, The Italian Seed Company that was selling packets at £1 each seems to have gone "off the air". Perhaps it will reappear in time for next season.
