Two American tourists were driving Northwards along the M1. As they passed the county boundary sign for Leicestershire they started arguing as to exactly how the name should be pronounced. Deciding to visit the city of Leicester en passant they turned off the motorway, and as it was lunch time, they stopped at a branch of a well known eaterie.
Still arguing about the pronunciation of the names of both the county and the city, they decided to ask the staff, so, as they stood at the counter one of them said to the dazzling young blonde assistant “Before you serve us would you mind settling an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are...very slowly?"
The blonde leaned over the counter with a smile and said, "Burrrrrrrr,
