Garter snake
« on: April 21, 2005, 13:29:12 »
Out taking a bike ride when I came across this "Garter snake." No, it's not a pet...can't stand them. But they are interesting.

They are harmless, but when they bite they tend to hang on to you.
                                      ;D ;D ;D ;D

I love to see snakes in their natural environment rather than in someone's living room in a vivarium. Great snaps Glyn as always.  :D

I love them too, and couldn't believe how wonderful they feel the first time I touched one.
And I agree with you Eileen, they should be allowed to live in their natural habitat.

Wow! That's beautiful! I love snakes! I agree with Waggi - where in the country are you, Glyn? I've never seen any of our native snakes. My boyf has a resident slow worm in his garden and that's exciting to me!!   8)
