I have been given a huge tub of blood fish and bone. What do I use it for? When can I use it? How do I apply it? What does it do?

Lucky old you!!
Organic - for everything - anytime - 2 oz/sqyd - scuff in before sowing/planting or spread around - not on - growing plants.
Keep it dry & wash your hands well.
Oh - typically N5.P5.K6.5

Fantastic news. Thanks Tim. They must have known that I don't remember what everything is used for - if I can use it anytime anywhere then that suits me fine. I will put some around the brassicas.

As Tim says, lucky you.
It's a very good general fertiliser (being a fair balance of N, K & P) and is a relatively slow release, well the K & P are the N (coming form the blood is quick acting)
