Its lovely dragonfly, it makes me want to come and make a wish  :)

You know  giving us ideas like that is going to be upsetting for the hubbys, i can just see what my old man will say when i ask him if he can come up with something like that, well maybe he wouldnt actually say anything it will be more of a look, something like this------->  ::)

Hi Roy, the tiles were left overs from brother-in-laws extension, seemed a shame to let them go to waste  ;D

Yes dibber the water overflowing back into the well looks really effective.  I thought of the idea but hubby came up with the know-how  :D

Hi Maz, yes the well was built over a disused drain. It was set in a big circle of concrete which looked unsightly on the lawn.  Hubby kept saying a well would like nice built on that........then low and behold one day he got all the things needed and within a few days.......a well appeared  ;D

Love your well  ;D    My son found a real one by our back door when we were investigating leaking sewers.  The water board made us break out the bottom (ooer) so the water leached out and cover it back up.  It's a beautiful bell type brick built one.  I would have liked to have kept it but water auth say the water is not safe and could be drunk.  I was thinking more of using it on the garden but hey ho  :)
I came, I saw, I composted
