Great piccies Quinny.  :)
Yes. Been watching Springwatch whenever possible Honey. Great setup they have there. Wonder could I worm my way round them for the loan of a bit of kit.  :D

I imagine these littluns will be gone within 24-48hrs.  One of them was constantly flying
to the hole as I was watching.  Also preening their feathers!  They are ready!!  Yay!

I was thinking that perhaps I'd have a little look outside.

On second thoughts, praps I'll stay here with you.

Look, do you mind moving your head, it's not like I've got much room up here.

I'm getting' empty nest syndrome' already.   :'(

I bet they will be gone in the morning.

They certainly look as if they are getting ready - I shall miss them.

Looks like they have just gone. Ours went on Sunday morning...apart from one who couldn't quite get the hang of flying and was still hiding under the camellia on Monday. The parents kept coming back and feeding him/her and eventually he/she managed to fly away. I was guarding the garden in case of predators!

Awe just been to do my morning check up on them and they are gone  :-*

Its nice, but its sad, ive enjoyed watching them so much.

When i was looking at them yesterday afternnon, i sort of knew in my heart that it would be the last time that i saw them.

Thankyou so much to Denis and Orfy for sharing with us, its been fantastic. :-*

Fly safely little ones  :-*

I am pleased for the birds but so sad!  I watched for ages before I went to work this morning because I could see they were ready to go and wanted to have a last look at them, logging in now and seeing the empty nest was really sad.

Thank you both for having the webcam and keeping it going, our house has watched it avidly over the last few weeks, the birds have provided much entertainment.  I hope they live long and happy lives in the big wide world.

Thanks everyone for watching, and to Orfy for making it all work. It has been a great experience, and hope to do it again next year.
Bye bye wee Bleepers.  :)

Before this thread is put to rest for 10 months can I just ask about the box?

Do you just leave it alone or clear it out? Im sending hubby up in a day or two to check that ours is empty and the little ones all got away safely. I keep thinking they all died or something.  :(

Typical...just as they are ready to fly, my computer goes down, its been off line for nearly a week. Still not too sad they look fit and well so hopefully have a good life.
