Thay kep saying he is nasty and want to swap him for a pooch that cuddles :-[
They both laugh at him every night though. He crawls across anyone(gently) to get to me ;)
Eats peanuts from your mouth SOoooo gently cos he likes them!
Wanted a cockle tonight but when he grabbed it he spat it out! :-X

Waved at him and said going to bed? He said "bye" really softly!

When I pop in for a coffee in the day and wave bye to him he flaps wings sadly and says bye and bites his nails! :-[

Just noticed that the above post says thingyle!!! It was quite an innocent piece of food called a

Yesterday, MinLaw was spreading bread and butter and scooby says,"Bread & Butter"! A new one ;D

This morning I said Bread & Butter and he replied,"Scooby din dins"! ;) Thats quite intelligent.

Think I will send him off to college next :D

Thanks for that! Last night he was in a rare REALLY cuddly mood :D
Laying upside down having tickles for hours! Knowing this, we knew he would be in really mischievous mood tonight! He is :-[
After buggering around and throwing all toys on floor he settled on his cage and preened for a while and spoke many sentences then he came back ::) In a silly bored mood! Having said that, he just took a bite with a vengence at my wound on my thumb :'(
Seems to know where to bite so he has been put in cage for being nasty. He just said,"don`t be nasty" and we hid our smirks :-X
Now taking vengence out on seed pot. Bet he is finding the garlic.
He was "stinky bird" tonight so will be worse tomorrow.
He will not like me tomorrow night as I am out diving all day at Horsea Island. :-X

I have the rare opportunity tonight to play LOUD stereo while they are out at reception. Got Katie Melua on and singing away with the Slow Gin that you lot taught me to make!!! ;D
Nearly a year old now! really nice, but doesn`t matter how loud the stereo goes, scooby is louder and louder! Loves music.
Better turn it down soon before they get back ;)

Sadly not as many as most of us would like. :'(
I have a friend who had a parakeet, who recently died, the bird not the friend, and he always had him out of the cage when he was home. He was a lovely little bird.

Andy... so many lovely stories. I love Katie Malua play it LOUD in the kitchen so that I can hear her when I am in the greenhouse!!!! My 10yr old Grandson (from next door) says "Crikey Nan we can hear that up the street" ;D. Maybe I should take a cd player up the greenhouse ??? Keep the stories coming.. Lorna.

Andy, Scooby is absolutely gorgeous. I've always wanted an African Grey (and I'm well aware of what that entails :o).
I've got teeny tiny parrots in the shape of two lovely budgies, but that's about all the budget will run to, sadly :'(

When our 6 numbers come up, parrots are a huge priority, after a house with enough room to keep them in ;D
