What is this?

Can you identify this? Its a marginal which I bought at the back end of the season last year. I was wondering what it is and does it flower? Is there anything in partic I should know about it?

I never even considered gunnera as I only know it as a huge plant.

It looks a bit boring to me tho' Im not expecting much from it other than to sit there quietly and grow. ::)  I'd hoped for some flowers.  :(
