Plant food
« on: April 25, 2005, 00:05:28 »
I read an article in a magazine a while ago about plant food made out of nettles and water. I have followed the instructions and all the nettles have disintegrated into the water. It looks great. It smells like something has died!! Has anyone tried this and is this right?

Nettles are very good for lots of purposes. You can eat them too.  Your nettle tea will be ok

This is an interesting article that should help:

My own "homebrew" is just about ready to filter off, so I'll see what results I get.  I harvested a huge bag of nettles last evening (and barely made a dent in the bloody nettle patch  >:() and started off another brew last night.
