Wow - look at 'em go

One of my squashes has germinated - I swear it's growing so fast I can see it!

Also - the sweetcorns that went in the ground have put on growth too.  I reckon they're thanking me for taking them out of the pots and letting their roots stretch out  :D

I love this time of year.

Mine has had really poor germination, probably due to the low temperatures. I'll be buying in plants this year. I've just planted butternut squash today; that's something I heard about here.

other half plants all the sensible stuff with good success rate!
I plant all the silly stuff like chilean wine palm,mediteranean fan palm,blue bean plant,iron bamboo,giant bamboo,luffa,etc etc
Not so high success rate though :(

Got a ch wine palm going now and med fan palm looking good!
Blue bean is back to the fridge for 3 months!
