Anyone want any to try and grow? I have just pulled loads off mine......now I know they are not veges, but they do look spectacular if you like tropical looking plants! :) Dotty P.

They are fab plants, altho from seed they will take a couple of years to flower. I grew a pot full from seeds 2 years ago and had my first couple of flowers this summer. They are real unusual, altho I don't know how hardy they are - I have mine in a big pot and they went in my greenhouse under the staging a couple of weeks ago where I will let them dry until the spring when I will start watering and feeding up again. They made quite sizeable bulbs in just 2 years.

Ej they are not fully hardy and you are doing exactly what I have done, bung em in the greenhouse and forget about them till spring, I love them think they look spectacular, plus they have a long flowering time! DP
