Can anyone tell me what sort of caterpillar this is, please. It is on a blueberry bush.

Could be a tussock moth caterpillar. Have a look at this link - probably rusty or white marked tussock moth

I'd suggest as it apparently has a wide range of food plants that you move it from anything you do like to something you don't!

Thanks very much to both of you. It's now in a large jar with plenty to eat (judging by what is coming out!). Maybe I can see what it turns into!!

Well, the rusty tussock moth is aka vapourer so chances are your money is safe Saddad.
