I find that beetroot regularly sprout the following year, and also chard.  There are always a few that appear near to last year's beetroot row, somewhat displaced by having the row forked over.  :wave:

Just randomly dropping by to note that I potted it on at the weekend - JI No2 that I'd warmed in the airing cupboard for a week - as it seems to be thriving on a south-facing windowsill.

Of course, I could kill it yet...
