And very homely it looks to!  Kinda thing we are half way through on our plot to grow the toms, hopefully, blight free!

Fab tomato house!  I think I could build one of those.  You've inspired me.

I had a delegation of lotty guys yesterday.  I thought Oh God what have I done.  They came for a look round at what I was doing (no dig spuds) and cast a critical eye over the acres of black plastic.  One of them said mine were the best onions he'd seen (praise indeed as he shows giant veggies)  Oooooh  ;D

Anyway one guy asked me if I wanted a greenhouse and he pointed to his plot.  It looked great but no glass.  Anyway he invited me for a closer look when I'd agreed to take it off his hands.  I gets there thinking it was my lucky day when he walked passed the greenhouse  and pointed to a pile of scrap and broken glassw on the floor.  You've guessed it  ;D ;D ;D

The old fella on the next plot to me has an aluminium greenhouse on which he has fixed polythene sheeting. Grows all his seeds in there and when he was away last year I looked after it for him...it don't half get hot in there.

Plus no glass to break

My old man's not keen on taking the pile of scrap off this bloke's plot.  he thinks it's just getting us to clear up his mess.  He's probably right but I feel I have to now I've said I'd have it.  Like you say I  can use polythene as one or two other plotties have done. I agree with you as well about the glass.  I've done nowt but clear up broken glass on my plot since I got it last summer

I'll let you know how I get on with my latest acquisition - that is I my OH will help me fetch it.  He'd better  >:(

Rained today so missed out on finishing it.  Just 2 sides to do, a bit of guttering to fit and connect to my 2 Euro wheely binny thingy and then might have a look at making a larger cold frame cum marrow house.

All finished. Fixed up the 2 Euro wheely bin to the fall pipe and attached watering can outlet and overflow.
