I do like getting things which are normally expensive to try out.

Had to go into Swindon so popped in there as well.
Seeds in barrels - what a mess!!! Not sure what this achieves. Though they had some things I wanted. I have decided to grow more flowers and herbs next year.
Edinburgh Woollen mills had a sale and I got a nice fleece jacket.

OK, thanks. The trouble with the Wyevale sale is that I always buy too much, and get things that don't get planted, or that I haven't got room to grow. So it probably works out costing more than I actually 'save'.

I got lots of flower seeds and about 5 plants. I had the cheek to ask for a further reduction on a Daphne mezerum rubra which was RRP £34 reduced to £8 as I said it was highly unlikely they'll sell if they're already dropping their (yellowing) leaves at that price. Lo and behold they put a sticker on it that said....wait for it....£2! well chuffed!

Oh bugger ... I forgot that this year ... I got loads of great expensive varieties last year. Hey-ho ... a lesson to put it in my diary next year!

I missed it last year. It used to be after the bank holiday.
