Hi all, lovely to be here again. I wondered if anyone knew what this flowering plant was. Would be really grateful if anyone could tell me. Thank You.

Looks like a freesia to me, if it smells lovely. Mine are just coming out in a pot in front garden, smell lovely but have greenfly. Just a suggestion, probably wrong.

It's a freesia from me too. Mine are dying back now for their summer rest. Had a lovely show march/april.

Agree that it looks like a freesia. Just worried that mine haven't shown yet now!

Dear All, I am so sorry, that I didn't get back to you all to say a grateful thanks for the flower identification. I twisted a muscle in my upper leg a while back, so have been out of action, and haven't been on my computer. Thank you so much for solving the puzzle. I wouldn't like you to think I was taking you for granted. It has been lovely scrolling through the posts again and seeing some of my old friends, still here and still the super gardeners they have always been.

I'm glad you are on the mend from your leg injury, sounds very painful.
Beautiful flowers, I bet the scent was just amazing
