Cucumber flowers
« on: March 29, 2005, 20:35:04 »
I’ve read lots of conflicting advice on pulling off the male flowers off a cucumber plant, any comments. I’ve just planted some Marketmore seeds myself

Thanks
 David

As I understand it, MM is basically an outdoor variety, in which case you would not de-flower.

What about indoor/outdoor like Telegraph, which I'm growing. I deflowered them last year (makes me sound like the local squire :o), although I probably missed 1 or 2.

For goodness sake, EJ. Don't you know the difference...!
If you have them inside then they are indoor ones. If you put them on the doorstep then they are outdoor ones.
