This is a very odd bird spotted sitting in the gutter outside the bedroom window!
Gardening is the great leveller.

Glad I haven't got a family of them nesting in my neighbours attic, like we have sparrows!

Frightened away by the gutter perching cat. By the way she jumped onto the extension roof, then onto the window ledge and onto the ground.

Marianne, they are all in my garden! Nesting in my hedges, and generally waking us up at some unearthly hour! ;D
Beautiful looking cat Eric  ;D Glad you didn't have to rescue her! ;D

My parents have a similar type of bird visit their bird table for bread. Fortunately they never seem to bother the other birds!

is it the 'tiggy bird', Palustris? sunbathing perhaps? my tabby cat likes to sit in the gutter when the sun is round. or birdwatching? or looking for mischief?!
