i owned a house that the garden went down to the river we sometimes got rats the council used to send a man around to deal with them free of charge as for our allotments we own the land so we sort them ourself but dont really have a problem as we dont allow livestock

I was on a council owned allotment but we only paid them peppercorn rent and so we were responsible for doing everything...including organizing our own pest control
