I can't wait to see your pictures next summer. It looks like a lovely area. I can just picture a nice little place to sit amongst the growing veggies enjoying the view when you take a break. Good luck -Ina

Our garden looked like that when we moved in 8 years ago this month. 30 tons of rubble later and a lot of work and even more pleasure it does not look too bad. Well good enough for a friend to want to bring a coach load around from her garden group, sometime next Spring.
Keep taking photos of everything you do. We have and it is amazing what you forget until you look through the albums. Enjoy yourself.

I wish I'd taken pix of mine from the time I started to reclaim it.

It's going to be great to see your work progressing, tho. All the best - Lishka

Hi ciderself - glad to see your pic!

Very reminiscent of my No 2 plot before the 'scorched earth' approach.  There are loads of bramble shoots just starting to pop up now that dew is forming.  My fellow allotmenteers don't quite know what to make of me as they see me single-mindedly rushing round the plot scooping off the new bramble growth with my trusty spade!  Can't keep up with the grass coming through though - that'll have to wait until it rains - must be weeks since we've had a really good downpour here - little bitty showers don't make any difference at all!   I 'spect it'll start raining in November and won't stop until next March!

Yo EmmaJane!  Good one - at least a full water butt means less lugging of water.....I've watered the garlic twice and I only put it in on Saturday.  Celeriac the size of tennis balls and limp leeks!  What's a girl to do.....  :'(

I think I need Ozzy to set up his teepee, get the tomahawks out and do the rain dance!   Go Oz!! :)
