I went for Avast and paid extra for more protection, but seem to me to be more expensive this year.
Has anyone got something at a good price.
I have found a site which puts webroot at no 2. Has anyone a recommendation please.

I generally use Avast Free of AVG free in combination with malwarebytes (or I use Sophos which I get for free from work)

I use this ;
http://download.cnet.com/ZoneAlarm-Free-Firewall/3000-10435_4-10039884.html
I tried the freebie to see how it worked then when I was satisfied I paid for the more comprehensive version.
I have found it OK or put another way I forget it is there.
I just leave it working away in the background doing scans and backups at times suited to me.
