You cant upload directly without paying a sub to Dan the site owner.  Go to your profile and look under Actions (on the left) for Paid Subscriptions.

Instead most people link to other image hosting sites where they put their pics.

I upload my pics to http://www.imgur.com and link to them from there.
If you want to know more let me know and Ill post more details but it is very easy and there are lots of posts on how to post images..

Thanks, it seemed easier to pay the sub to Dan and it worked ok.

I use Photobucket for my public photos and this is free.

I also use Flikr for my private photographs, where I have an account to which I subscribe annually!

To be quite honest I don't know why I don't use Flickr all the time as this is an 'unlimited' account whereas Photobucket has a limit!

Photobucket is here;

There are may others with similar facilities, or as the other have mentioned you can subscribe in house to A4A picture library.

I think Dan puts paid subscription fees towards the cost of running A4A, so in my opinion well worth the fee! It is also so easy then to attach pictures to posts.

But I do occasionally use photobucket, although I find it a bit of a faff organising pictures in it, or perhaps I've never got the hang of it.

I use Flickr more as it is easy to work with, a doddle to share pictures once you have them uploaded and you are given a huge amount of storage. Both are free to use.
