Thankyou for sharing your Bullfinches as its taken Jude and I 54 years and a move to a different county to actually ever see ANY,
we now have two males and one female, who it must be said is anything but dowdy, for all his red splendour, she has a lovely mocha and black feather pattern and is equally as pretty.
Were no birders, but back in Middlesex we just had Tits and Sparrows so the Bullfinches add that splash of colour to our new life here......
Funnily enough you mention Birds,I was in the garden centre today buying some bits like you do and I was accosted by two females(I should be so lucky)....anyway,we were talking garden birds and it turns out they run a bird sanctuary Nr me for all manner of small birds and some Raptors, this lady called Judy gave me her number( I should be so lucky)as I said Jude and I would luv to see
birds up close and personal albeit they are injured, so Im gonna ring her and see what she has in there soon and just take Jude along
not realising where shes going till were in there.....should be fun.
