dahlias
« on: March 28, 2005, 17:41:58 »
Had a look in my stash of seeds and discovered some dahlia tubers looking sad and sprouting a bit. So I have potted them into peat for a while  - cos I thought was still a bit chilly to put them on the allotment. Is that the right course of action? They are in the garage at the mo - what should i do with them next?
Thanks,
Sarah.

I would leave them where they are Sarah and let the grow on a bit.  Just make sure they are frost free and have plenty of light.  Once fear of frosts has passed then you can plant them out.  :D
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

Anyone have any favourite types they can recommend - bit bamboozed with all the different varieties.
