Isle of Wight, run down small farm. Nothing had been done to the place for decades so there is a lot of work to be done (house, and land). So far we've planted 2 acres for firewood and coppice poles, 1 acre planted as orchard and nuttery, veg area with 40 raised beds. Remaining land is reed beds, and species rich meadow, sometimes under water. There are a few photos here http://oca-testbed.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/ive-moved-new-start-new-land.html

That looks great Ian!
Funnily enough we were looking at places on the IoW the other day.  I was a Pompey lad before moving to London and it seems like a good place to be in one's advancing years.
There also seems to be a few decent bits of property\land there as well.

Glad you found something that is working for you!
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!
