The chickens are digging for victory, holes appearing all over the run, upto 8ins deep. When you look out its like a scene from north africa with Montys desert rats. All you see is their heads.

Same with ours. It's been so wet until recently, the poor things have only been able to dig swimming baths rather than dust baths.

The soil in pen is on damp side here too...but luckily there is no misery from it..yet. We got rid of the old girls early in winter and the new ones are still too little for great outdoors.....I GOT SOME NEW CHICKS TODAY!
Garden feels like 'garden' again..now that I know there is some new life there again...I'll be soon talking to them again when passing by
