has anybody a favourite supplier of these as the all seem quite pricey?

I bought some rooted slips from Dobies two years ago. From what I remember the plug plants looked ok on arrival and grew on strongly but not much of a crop as it just rained most of the summer here.

Last couple of years Homebase have been selling potted sweet potato plants for quite reasonable price...but they would not stock them for some time yet. You probably won't see them in offer again until nearer to April/May time.

I buy them from T & M  :glasses9:  there is  free P & P this weekend according to another thread on here. Only started buying them since the summers have deteriorated so not had good results but maybe this year :toothy10:
