hello im back

 :wave: sorry ive been away for a few years. been alot going on in my life . cut a long story short ive had to give up my allotment in hayes and ive moved to bracknell. finaly after years of waiting i got a plot in bracknell it's a mess (loads of couch grass and mares tail) it's going to be hard work starting all over again, but hay hoe glad to be getting my big mitts dirty again

It wont take long to get back in the groove of it. Sometimes starting from scratch is exciting - time to start planning etc.  Good luck!
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

phew it's all hard work but the new plot is getting there . 4.5M x 30M. im digging away like im looking for gold. .... but thanks to a cleaver spade i purchased digging is fast and easy if you haven't got an auto spade i relay recommend you get one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WezHc-107Dc yes it realy is that easy to use my 11 year old step son dug a patch about 4m square in less than two hours  best invention since sliced bread

I hope you get on well with your new plot.  The backsaver spade seems somewhat pricey at £99.99 from Suttons, actually I have found at cheaper one at £99.98.   I have to say I like the digging hoe, no picking up the soil and somewhat cheaper clears overgrown areas a treat.

my autospade is an old org one i only payed £40 for it . even the new ones at £100 are worth every penny... im thinking of renting mine out to other plot holders as it becoming a spectators sport when i get it out others come to watch it in use.  sorry if im sounding like a salesperson , im not i just like to pass on good advice
