Being nosey I was gazing at the lovely, tidy plot and was invited in to look round. Was very impressed with the greenhouse, cold frame that had been constructed out of, believe it or not pallets. They were building a fruit cage when I was there. To cut a long story short, could you ask the plotholder what variety of cucumbers he was growing please? They were short fat ones. Was gutted for declining his offer of one after I saw them.
