Budgerigar outside Morrisons
« on: August 09, 2013, 19:54:18 »
Nice tame budgerigar walking along the pavement and then into the road.  Stopped the traffic like one does, but didn't have a box on me at the time, thought there was not much I could do.  Why do these birds always come to me, apart from the valuable parrot (not mine), which had a big reward, he has flown off never to be seen again.  This is the second time this has happened to me, and first time bought a bird cage, and kept the budgie, but the cat made its life a misery, so gave it to a pet shop.  This story has a happy ending, I hope, as one of my neighbours, who just happened to be in Morrisons at the time, managed to catch it and took it home.  They have a cage for it at home as have  kept birds, (not sure that Mum was too pleased with another pet).  So lucky budgie lives on.  :sunny: :sunny:

I'm so glad this story has a happy ending! Budgies are my favourite pet! :toothy10:
