I couldn't get to my onions because of the nesting tree bumble bees. They seem to have left the nest box now but nearly all my onions have flowers on them. Will they still be edible? I normally nip out any flowering shoots before they get that tall.

They are still edible but will not store very well, they might have a hard core through them where the long seed stem originates from the onion
